Guest Details

Quinten Lovejoy was born and raised in Northwest Missouri, about an hour north of Kansas City. Raised from humble beginnings on the outskirts of a trailer park, he learned early in life that in order to advance past the modest life station from which generations of his family had operated he would have to outwork, outthink, and outperform the low expectations bestowed upon him by loving and well-intentioned, yet very average friends and family.

In 1999, Quinten married his high school sweetheart, Sabrina.

Following a problem pregnancy that nearly took the life of both Sabrina and their unborn child, the couple welcomed a healthy, beautiful daughter, Sydney in 2008.

The family resides in a rural community north of Kansas City, where they enjoy traveling when they aren’t busy watching television documentaries about law enforcement.

Education

Quinten graduated with honors from Missouri Western State University with a pre-law degree and Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.

While working full time, Quinten earned a 3.9 GPA en route to his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Professional Career

Quinten’s professional life began at Herzog Contracting Corp., an international construction firm, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations for insurance, risk management, bonding, and contract negotiations. He then spent a short period of time at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica as the Associate Director of the legal department before moving on to working for Black and Veatch in its nuclear engineering and procurement department.

Following a three-year recruitment cycle, Quinten joined the world of insurance sales with one of the nation’s top commercial insurance direct writers, Federated Insurance. During his 7 years at Federated, Quinten earned numerous prestigious awards and recognitions as one of the company’s top representatives. Based in a small territory in northern Missouri, he routinely outperformed cohorts from large, metropolitan regions. By the time he left Federated, his book of business had tripled.

Quinten departed Federated in the fall of 2017, at which time they rewarded his hard work and dedication with frivolous litigation that drained him spiritually, emotionally, and financially.

In execution of his dream to be free of corporate America limitations and forge his own entrepreneurial path, Quinten launched The 300 Group – an insurance practice built upon disrupting the experiences endured by his fellow entrepreneurs. Quinten works almost exclusively with privately-owned companies, whose owners work in their respective businesses on a day-to-day basis.

Focused on partnering with the men and women who give their all in the nurturing and growth of these businesses, Quinten’s primary goal is to ensure these businesses continue for generations in support of the owners and their families, employees, and communities who rely on them.

Quinten specializes in Property and Casualty, Work Comp, Auto, General Liability, and Risk Management Strategies including estate and business continuation planning for his clients. The proprietary, assessment-based process he has designed to better serve his clients and prospects has opened an opportunity to bring innovation to the public and to other agents through a software development project set for release in the near future.

Arete Syndicate

Quinten is immensely thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Arete Syndicate. It has expanded his vision for what life can look like for him and his family – it has shown him that there are other people with the same standards of expectations of himself and of others – and it has given him permission to completely overhaul who his influences, friends, clients, and colleagues should be.
